Cordelia Bähr
Cordelia Bähr started her career as an attorney-at-law in 2010 and established her first area of expertise in the complex intersection between the right of privacy and freedom of the press. Her interest in fundamental rights led her to complete a LL.M. degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with a focus on human rights and the environment. Subsequently, as an environmental lawyer at the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN), Cordelia Bähr assisted with the revision of the CO2-Ordinance. She at the same time worked as an academic assistant in public international law and constitutional law at the University of Zurich. Today, Cordelia Bähr advises her clients principally in public law, human rights law and environmental law. Cordelia Bähr was named to the “Nature’s 10” list for her role as lead lawyer in the case of the KlimaSeniorinnen against Switzerland — as one of ten people who helped shape science in 2024.
